We {heart} Cars!

My boys were SO excited when I brought the Cars cartridge home. I couldn't wait to make a Lightning McQueen (or in Tyler world that's White Ween! haha). They really thought this was the coolest thing ever, although they didn't enjoy waiting for me to piece it all together.

Beary Cute!

This little bear is Beary Cute isn't he?? I made my own "tear" bear in SCAL. I love this little guy.

Dandelion Dreams

I love this picture of Dylan this summer. The journaling says Dandelion puffs away makes my dream come true today.

Well, It's been a while!

Time to catch you all up on my projects.

Here's an easy one pager about my life in total male domination. It's not as bad as it sounds though, I love my male dominated life!!

This page is of my youngest son, Tyler. Seems like he has grown so fast compared to my first son, time flies!! It's kinda fun to see pictures of him as he is growing all in one spot.

Made over 25 of these invitations.

The inside

Matching envelopes

Here's the whole set for the party

Chocolate dipped pretzels, yummy!!

The boys got mad at me when I tried to only take pictures of one of the hats, so here's both of them,

Dylan's hat

Tyler's hat

The boys wearing their hats

For the kids who come to the party instead of candy bags we made coloring books with the bind it all

A sample of one of the coloring book pages. I don't remember the site, just search for dinosaur coloring pages.

Thank you's for the adults. These pillow boxes are filled with hershey nuggets wrapped with matching paper and wint-o-green lifesavers.

I love 'em a MELON!

I adore this picture!! Had to add it on here in case you didn't see it on the father's day card.

and he's OFF

My sweet DS when he first started to crawl. I'm really behind on his baby book because I can't scrap chronologically, I'd get bored. Anyways this is from a Making Memories kit, Animal Crackers Jack (I think?). The only cricut on here is the circle and triangle used to make the arrow.

Carving Pumpkins

Last Halloween my in-laws and my boys, they had a blast. PP is basic grey from their mellow line. Pumpkin and vines is from the Happily Ever After cricut cartridge. Carving Pumpkins font was cut with SCAL.

Sweet as can BEE

I couldn't wait to make this page when I got the pooh cartridges for my birthday!

My oldest son catching snowflakes this winter. The font was put on a path in Inkscape and imported to SCAL and the snowflakes are from Accent Essentials cricut cartridge. The heart was an oops that I was luckily able to use, the cut is from doodlecharms. The swirl and snoflake stamp is from a rhonna farrer christmas set.

An "egg-cellent" Easter

This page was done for a challenge on the cricut messageboard. The challenge was to use a 5x7 and (4)4x6 pictures in a layout using my least used cricut cartridge for the title, 3 different patterned papers and only one piece of bling. I was supposed to cut the 5x7 in three pieces but just couldn't do it, someone's face would have been cut right through the middle, but I did cut the mat it's on in 3 pieces. I used ZooBaloo for "An" and "Easter" "eggcellent" was cut from SCAL, don't remember the font. The swirls were also cut with SCAL they're a Rhonna Farrer font from two peas.

Manly love

This is a page about how as you change certain meanings can change. Take the word "manly" for example. As shown in the pictures manly to me doesn't mean some one who drives a fast car and can bench press 300 lbs, it's kissing boo boos and putting on bandaids making it all better

Dad's we're NUTS about you!

The father's day gifts I made for my DH, FIL and my dad. The bags are from Plantin Schoolbook and I sized them in DS to be as big as possible with the square cut out of the middle. Chip (or is it Dale?) is from the mickey and friends cartridge as are the acorns. Font's were cut out with SCAL NUTS I'm pretty sure is 2peas airplane, but not sure about the other one. All the papers are digi freebies that I printed. I'm going to try and do a better job of writing down where I get things from as far as fonts and freebies go, SORRY!

The cards to match. I love this picture!!

These are the cards I made for them. I didn't have any thick lined paper so I scanned regular old notebook paper and printed it on my computer for the background. The apple from Doodlecharms again and A+ teacher is Plantin Schoolbook (roly poly, I think?). Threading water punch again on the bottom The second picture is the inside of the card. Scallop circle is from mini monograms. The gift card holder is a printable template that I traced in inkscape and cut out with SCAL.

My boys were SO excited when they came up into their rooms and saw them on the wall. I'm still going to do more on the rest of the walls eventually.

Forever Amore

A simple page featuring my wonderful DH and I. Wanted to keep this one very simple so that we would be the main focus. You can't really see in the picture but the letters are embossed with the distressed lines CB folder and the scallop is embossed with the swiss dots folder.

Me @ 23

This layout threw me completely out of my comfort zone. I was playing around in photoshop (still trying to figure everything out) and this is the photo I came up with. The papers aren't my usual style either. Liked the outcome though, it's just different. A little info about me to celebrate my birthday.

Birthday card made by my Mr.

My wonderful husband made me this card all by himself!! Didn't he do a great job?? He even used the cricut, CAD II, and colored in the stamps, how creative. I was seriously impressed. He's a keeper, huh?

Whoo Do You Love

I love this one. The frame was created with design studio with the Happily Ever After (owl heart for o and swirl for branch), mickey font, opposites attract, george hearts, scallop from plantin schoolbook, journal block was done with the cricut markers. Background scallop was cut the design studio using Regina Easter's file, thanks! Cuttlebug hearts embossing, prima flowers. Embossing also on owl's belly.

All I want for Christmas is... Everything

Yep, that's all my oldest son wanted to christmas this year... everything. What does his little brother want... according to Dylan poor Tyler wants nothing. HAHA.

angel face

This is a LO of my youngest son. He has such a sweet face but he is such a trouble maker. That cute little face had gotten him out of a lot of trouble. The Lo is really simple and I think it needs a little embellishment still. Fancy Pants stamps and opposites attract cricut cartridge.

jessica layout

My son came home from my parents one day with a wrapped package and told me "it's something you've been missing" Well I opened it and it was my childhood favorite, my jessica bear. He was so sweet I asked him to keep her and take very good care of her, I know he will. He loves his stuffed animals so much, he doesn't want to hurt any of their feelings so he sleeps with about 25 of them on his bed.

Fancy Pants stamps, prima , prima flowers, cinnamon stickles on the title, buttons, sewing, the background scallop paper was done with design studio (using Regina Easter's file, Thanks!)

Valentine cards

I made two of each of these cards.

All the paper is imaginisce, Loves me line. You will notice I accidentally bought wayyy too much of this paper, lucky for me (and you too I think) I absolutely love all this paper. It's double sided and just oh so adorable. All of the valentine cards, bags and altered items I made this year were from this paper line.

The first is very simple. The heart is from doodle charms and xo is mickey font.

"hogs and kisses" the second card: HOGS was made with the markers (george) I think. & is from George. Kisses is a stamp from imaginisce. Scallops from Plantin Schoolbook. Pig is from Animal Kingdom. Heart is doodlecharms. The eyes are google eyes. Whew, I think that covers it.

Last but not least "You're Tweet" Bird is from Happily Ever After. Scallop heart Mini monograms cuttlebug hearts folder. x heart x heart-welded in design studio from George. "you're tweet" is hand written. Doodles in background are basic grey stamps. Flower is prima.
