Unique

When my DH works afternoon shift the boys and I always have a "movie date". What do my boys want for their movie snack?? Popcorn and MARSHMALLOWS! I thought they were crazy. But they insisted, so I said what the heck, we'll give it a try. Well it turns out to be delicious. Give it a try next time you're making popcorn. I had to document the moment and it will also be a reminder of our movie dates when they grow too big to hang out with their Momma.

I used the Colorbok Friendly Forest line for everything.
Random scrap geen CS and Fiskars upper crest border punch

aloha hawaii

My in-laws just got back from Hawaii a couple weeks ago, the lucky buggers! ;) and I found these papers the other day at Target in the dollar spot. I'm a sucker for cheap paper, especially when I think it's pretty cute. So I made this layout for them to justify my dollar spot purchase! There are tags behind the top photo mat they can pull out to add journaling or extra pictures
Supplies
Cricut cuts: Sun and palm tree from Doodlecharms. Aloha is Sesame street font. Hawaii and title marquee are Storybook. Tags tucked behind photo mat from Tags bags boxes and more.
Face stamp on sun is Peachy Keen.
Scallop border punch from fiskars.
Patterned papers from Target dollar spot.
Craft cardstock from Papertrey Ink.
Misc. Cardstock from stash. Misc. buttons and ribbon

The birthday cup-cake

My fabulous mother-in-law always makes the boys a cake for their actual birthday and we have a fun little party with only the grandparents, Brad, the boys and I. This year when Grammy (my MIL) asked what kind of cake Dylan wanted there was no shortage of necessities. The journaling reads
"Dylan isn't asking for much on his cake
REALLY
Just cars, oh and dinosaurs
and can't forget monster trucks!
Oh yeah, and a jungle
Don't worry though
Theres no pressure Grammy!

I made the bears in SCAL and I hand cut the cupcake. The title block is from Storybook.
