Butterfly thank you

Today's card is a simple little thank you.  In May I won a free set from PTI during their blog hop, I chose Butterfly dreams.  So today's card features a copic colored butterfly.

I really liked the proportions of this card with all the empty space it really focuses on the butterfly.  The aqua mist paper is stamped in versamark with background basics: diamonds and behind the focal image is ripe avocado grosgrain ribbon.  The craft background also has the canvas impression plate for some subtle detail.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies (all pti unless noted)
Cardstock:  craft, aqua mist, white
Stamps:  Butterfly Dreams, Background basics:  Diamonds
Ink:  Noir (palette), Versamark
Other:  rhinestones, Ripe Avocado grosgrain ribbon, linen and canvas impression plate

  6. I love how you colored the butterfly with the lighter color in the middle. Your idea of all the open space is fantastic....that way we center our eye to that beautiful butterfly!

  7. Ditto what Amy said! The butterfly looks great with that coloring, and the white space focusing our attention on the butterfly--well done!
