Happy Mothers Day
First of all I want to wish all of you Mothers out there a very Happy Mothers Day!!
Now I've got to show you all the adorable card my hubby and boys made for me. They did such a great job and he knows that them taking the time to make it for me means more than any card they could ever buy. I love him, isn't he the sweetest! My sweet boys, too, aren't they great!
This is the card I made for my Mom and Mother-in-law. I used a quote from PaperTrey Ink and the flower is a really cool technique I found on the cricut messageboard, I'll have to go try to find out who and link their tutorial. Anyways, it's 3D and all of the petals are curled backwards.
Supplies:
Bazzil cardstock
Basic Grey Urban Prarie
Cricut Plantin Schoolbook for flowers and leaves
Cricut Storybook for the Marquee
Rhinestone from Michaels dollar bins.
Thanks for stopping by.

Daily Disaster
The last couple days have been crazy busy around here. I decided on wednesday that I was going to make cookie bouquets for teacher appreciation week and mothers day. Well I didn't quite realize how labor intensive 50 something double frosted sugar cookies on sticks would be. It took me all of tuesday night to shop and make the dough. Wednesday I baked and baked and baked. Wednesday night was the first layer of frosting. Thursday was kiddo decorating day and the kids made mothers day cards for their Grandmas' and I made some for my mom and MIL and teacher cards. I'll post those later, haven't had time to take a pic. Anyways, so these cute little mothers day/teacher appreciation gifts have taken me at least 15 hours to complete and I'm confident in saying this is the last time I'll make them! But, they are cute though :)
This is a layout I made a few weeks ago, but it happens to fit right in with my disaster of a house right now. I don't have a picture for it yet, but I'm going to take a picture of my living room after the kids have pulled all of their toys out of the toy box. I know that sometime I'll look back and miss that disasterous mess!
Supplies:
Cricut Indie Art for explosion at 8 inches? I think.
Sesame Street font for Daily Disaster
Cuttlebug argyle embossing folder on disaster
Papers are Bo Bunny Grease Monkey line.
Misc. buttons from stash

Long day yesterday and CC #14
So yesterday was quite a day. We were running all day long. First we had a birthday party, then we went to the park and after that we had big circus plans. There was a whole crew of us at the circus. I think there was 16 of us that sat together. Talk about fun! The kids were of course wild but not badly behaved, thankfully! After the circus we stopped to get something to eat and Tyler, who has been potty training, had to go to the bathroom. He ran in front of my into the men's room, where the toilet had over flowed and he slipped and fell right on his butt into who knows what!? Of course he would even attempt to get up so here I am walking into the men's room and also almost falling on my butt to pick up my kid who is covered in toilet stuff! Needless to say, we left and Tyler left without pants on.
By this point me and both boys were very tired and crabby (did I mention they didn't nap at all?!) All I wanted to do was go home and relax for a few minutes.
I had forgot to pick something up at my Mom's when I was there so I stopped on the way home and as I was heading back out towards the highway my Jeep was hit by a four wheeler! Yeah, I'm serious. Thankfully nobody was hurt. We were near my parents house when it happened so they were able to come and get my kiddos while we were waiting. Called the cops and got their answering service who took all my information and said they would call me in a few minutes. Forty-five minutes later, still no call. I finally called back and talked to an actual police office who said they never got a message but would come right away.
We didn't get home until after 10 and didn't get the boys to bed until pushing 11. It was one of the longer days I've had in a while. I'm so glad that day is over.
Well if you made it through all that, here's my card for the Chirper Challenge #14 this week. We were to use black, stitching, and scraps from Challenge #13 and a sketch from ScrapSketch, We used sketch #44, but go on over and check them all out, they're so inspiring.
Supplies
Turtle from Walk in my Garden Cricut Cartridge
Marquee from Storybook cartridge.
Patterned papers are Little Yellow Bicycle, Baby Safari line
Bling from Michaels, in the dollar section
Rub on is ancient from my stash, I think it was Top Line Creations?
Misc. Red cardstock and google eye

First of all I want to wish all of you out there a very happy and productive National Scrapbook Day!!
I don't know if I'll get anything done because the carnival is in town this weekend so the kiddos and I will be heading over there and later my father-in-law is coming out to help my hubby work on putting a roof on our old garage. Bummer, huh? At least I'll have some new pictures to scrap, right?!?
This layout is my son Dylan to a T. From the look on his face to the "mickey" (blanket) and Paws (his stuffed animal). The journaling says "so you to be smilling so big and toting around paws and your mickey!"
Supplies:
Patterned papers: DCWV Green Stack
Craft CS: Papertrey Ink
misc. buttons from stash
